it is soooo cold right now.

but today has never been better.
did my laundry, went for an awesome church service, got a sumptuous dinner cooked by my teacher and I GOT THE INTERNET FINALLY (:


entries below from the previous few days before i blog further:
DAY5/6
Sixth day in China is a rainy day.

Yesterday night was stay home day with roomie, and staying home day means setting of time table, camwhoring and trash talking.

I am really glad to be able to bunk together with a fellow sotong (:

Dinner yesterday was soup with bread.
This was the incident that happened:
I told roomie there was a fly in the room and asked her to spray insecticide.
she said "No, we have soup in the room and we have to be kind to insects"
and the next thing she knew, the big and fat fruit fly committed suicide in our soup.
Moral of the story: NEVER BE KIND TO INSECTS (:


and today, Yuxian (i call her fish salty heh) and I went for a romantic walk in the rain around about one eighth of the whole campus. We discovered more new places and stuffs (of which, is a volleyball, shanghai's brand, i am really tempted to get one just for practise. i am soo out of touch with volleyball luh).
THEY ACTUALLY SELL TANG BAO (soup bao) IN THE UNIVERSITY! unfortunately, when we wanted to get them, they were sold out =/
ah well, since we know the way there, next time perhaps :D

Expenses are incurring, especially when the stupid internet connection in this school is not compatible with MAC and in order for research and everything else, we need to get our own modem which costs us 110 yuan per person for 5 months.
Better than nothing i guess?
at least the internet will be working 2 days from the time i blog this, and we might be able to sell the connection to some before we Wuhan.

FREE DINNER! I feel guilty for imposing on them. heh.
Everyone around here have been really nice, like totally.
I shall do something nice for them in return, and the something nice, shall be a secret for now xD

Emo seventh day in china.


It is still raining and during a rainy day, nothing beats plugging in the ipod and thinking.

memories just bombard, making me so vulnerable.
so, in the meantime i shall keep myself busy till the internet connection comes.

loads to be done:
laundry, revision, assessed tutorial and cleaning.

shall be going to church later, and today is finally sunny!
a sunny day for a sunday.

went shopping yesterday, got quite a few souvenirs from everyone (:
and today onwards, i shall live on a budget.

these few days i keep having weird dreams.
these dreams ranges from nightmares and adventures.
exciting hur?

but one common thing about these dreams is that they make me miss Singapore and everyone in it.
ooo and i finished one more gummy packet, soon there will be no more left ):

church was great. i really loved the service and i made many new friends, be it from america, australia, africa or singapore.
the people were really friendly, and I FOUND A SOURCE FOR A GUITAR.
plus, i shall be helping out in the worship team in church soon (:

and I FINALLY GOT MY FIRST VOLLEYBALL EXCHANGE WITH CHINA CITIZENS (:
today is a good day.
